The mission of International Association of Fitness Sciences (IAFS) is to create an exercise and nutritional model that can be used to impact the health and fitness of men and women, young and old alike everywhere; A method that's simple, yet effective, and can be used to teach lifestyle exercise and nutritional habits. After certification, become part of the IAFS TRAINER NETWORK.

We currently offer two certifications:

Functional Training Certification:  which consist of strength training, core training, cardio-training, flexibility, the understanding of basic nutrition for the average person, and knowing how to setup a fitness program for their individual body types.  The certification includes Basic Nutrition, so the trainer may help their client create a healthier nutritional lifestyle. This program can be administered to individuals, groups, or corporations.

Minister of Fitness: The Minister of Fitness focuses on creating certified personal trainers for churches and various community ministries. The Minister of Fitness training curriculum falls under the Functional Training Certification. Ministers of Fitness will be able to educate their church congregations and surrounding community with health and fitness knowledge to help fight heart disease, diabetes, strokes, and obesity among children as well as adults. Note: The Functional Training Certification fulfills the required teaching to become a Minister of Fitness .

Ultimate Bodybuilding Certification:   For those who are serious about creating the best physique possible through various training systems, sports nutrition, understanding body types and how they work, explanation of the science of carbohydrate depletion and reloading, and the art of posing. This program empowers trainers with knowledge to prepare their clients for competition if that's their goal.  This program also includes Basic Nutrition.

Certification Fees Start at $445

Your certification fees are broken into two payments. The first payment covers your Study Materials Package ($195.00 for one or $350 for both programs). The second payment covers your Test Package which starts at $250. Your second payment is not due until you are ready to start your testing.
